Reviewer Comments: Awaken, My Love was the first book of Robin Schone's that I read. I think she is a good writer and because of this book, I went on to read three more of her stories. The first time I read Awaken, My Love, the plot kept me interested. Once Elaine comes to terms with her time travel and new body, she begins to receive mysterious letters from someone who apparently knows that she is not who she appears to be. The discovery of who was writing the letters was unexpected and kept me guessing. The second time I read the book and the plot was not so unpredictable, I was quite put off by Charles being so controlling and dominate. Ms. Schone's story was interesting and sensual, if you can overlook or like a domineering hero, you will probably enjoy this time travel book.
